Privacy Policy

Version: okemily-v1-2026-07-17

This page describes what happens when you subscribe to updates at okemily.com. We collect the minimum needed to do that, and nothing else on this page.

What we collect

We do not collect names, phone numbers, or any other personal data through this form. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics scripts on this page.

How it's stored

Your email address is encrypted before it is ever written to disk, using a passphrase held only by a human operator, never stored on the server itself. It is never held in plaintext at rest, under any circumstance.

Who processes it

We use Mailchimp to send email updates. When you subscribe, Mailchimp sends you a confirmation email — you are not actually subscribed to receive anything until you click that link (double opt-in). Mailchimp acts as our data processor for the purpose of sending email; they have their own privacy practices, available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe via Mailchimp's link (in any email we send) or ask us directly, we remove it from both Mailchimp and our own records.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing emilyspringerton@gmail.com. We'll act on deletion requests promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update the version number at the top of this page and note the change. Your consent record always reflects the exact version you agreed to at signup, not whatever's current later.
