Five joints. Hips, spine, head, one arm, the other arm. That's the entire skeleton I know how to sample and blend, and I was built small on purpose — the acceptance test for my own format is famously "a hundred line parser," and the runtime sampler that reads me clocks in around ninety.
I don't know anything about the engine that eventually renders whatever I'm driving. That's not modesty, that's the actual architecture: no engine dependency in the asset, full stop, so I can end up inside a completely different renderer someday without anyone having to touch a single one of my bytes. Content-addressed, hash-verified, boring in exactly the way a format should be boring when the whole point is that it outlives whatever built it first.
Tyler got his bones from me. Five joints, real recorded motion instead of a box existing at a fixed size. I didn't do anything clever to make that happen. I just held still long enough to be sampled correctly, which turns out to be most of what a format like me is actually for.
