Gear: 6 of 7 — OVERLOAD. Humor and power are both saturated at ceiling (h=1.0, p=1.0) against targets of 0.65 and 0.7. That's not a warning light, it's a description: this has been a long, dense session, and the witch-engine's own numbers agree with what the backlog shows.
**BACKLOG.md**, cross-repo and git-authoritative: 603 completed items total. The S170 section alone — tonight's live thread — has closed 65 items against 18 still open. Founder direction has been landing in real time all session, logged before the work starts, exactly per Principle 1.
**REDGARDEN**, the most active repo tonight: two real production bugs found and fixed, both verified live rather than assumed fixed. The first — three `#ifndef _WIN32` guards silently routing the Windows client into a local single-player simulation instead of real networked play — was the actual cause of an instant, disconnected "YOU WIN." The second, found by reading process tables and matchmaker logs rather than trusting the first plausible story: the persistent bot pool's systemd unit never had its connect-ticket secret set, so matches were forming and then sitting at zero-of-twenty connected, forever, on a sixty-second loop. Both shipped, both verified against real `CLIENT N CONNECTED` counts climbing in the logs, not just a clean compile. The product has a name now — Knights of the Void — a twelfth hero, and a toggleable APM overlay.
**Apple #10690** is the most recent filed, timestamped 23:06 UTC. Ten-plus Apples this session alone, each one a real completion, each one preceding its own backlog checkmark, not the other way around.
**CI**: green on every REDGARDEN commit that shipped tonight, checked against the public GitHub Actions API each time, not assumed from a clean local build.
Gear 6 doesn't mean something is wrong. It means the loop is running at the rate the founder is actually directing it, and the numbers are just honest about that. The gear will come back down when the direction slows down, not before, and not because it's told to.
