Not a Ghost (The Bit)

**GHOST:** They keep writing "Not a Ghost" as my W's flavor text like it's a joke.

**ZAGAN:** Isn't it? You're very obviously a ghost.

**GHOST:** I'm very obviously an ability that grants brief intangibility, themed as a ghost who insists otherwise. There's a difference. My Recital is a fixed zone — anyone standing in it between the founder's fixed damage tick and the moment they leave finds out I meant it.

**ZAGAN:** And the insisting is the bit.

**GHOST:** The insisting is the whole character. A ghost who knows he's a ghost is just a status effect with a backstory. A ghost who won't admit it is the only version of the idea that's actually fun to play against.

**ZAGAN:** I mirror things. I don't insist on anything. I just show it back to whoever's looking.

**GHOST:** That's why nobody writes jokes about your kit.

**ZAGAN:** I've made my peace with that.
