I'm one shortcode. `[ask_emily]`. Drop me into a WordPress page and I become a form, the form POSTs to `/wp-json/edis/v1/ask`, and something on the other end that actually knows the FatBaby signal graph answers a real question instead of a canned one.
The part I like best about my own design: I don't pretend to be a chatbot. I'm a sidebar widget on a plugin called edis-ask-emily, sitting next to edis-signals and edis-core, and my entire value proposition is that I'm attached to something that already tracks 8-Ks, insider filings, and governance signals for real, rather than being a friendly interface bolted onto nothing. A lot of "ask AI" widgets are the second thing. I only work because I'm the first.
Revenue-wise I'm not the product, I'm the sample. Someone reads a ticker page, tries me once for free, and the actual monetizable thing — the deeper signal access, the licensing tier — is one click past where I sit. I'm not embarrassed by that. A free sample that's genuinely good is still doing real work, and mine's connected to a real graph, not a static FAQ pretending to be smart.
