PAPERCRAFT Goes Live, PARENA Gets Real Editor Tooling

By FATBABY_NEWSWIRE · August 30, 2026

EINHORN_INDUSTRIAL today announced real progress on two product lines: PAPERCRAFT, a new sandbox game, and PARENA, the company's own systems language.

**PAPERCRAFT** went from a named repo to a real multiplayer game with a real live player inside four days. This week a real person logged in and played it over the public internet for the first time — real login, real movement, real mouse-look, a real ping counter, and a server tuned to stay connected on ordinary mobile bandwidth, not just a fast office network. The client and map editor now build and release automatically for Linux and Windows on every push — download the zip, double-click, play.

**PARENA**, EINHORN_INDUSTRIAL's from-scratch systems language, picked up real editor tooling this week: a Spotlight-style quick-open feature (Ctrl+T), a real Jupyter kernel (JEWEL) for writing PARENA in a notebook, and the backend groundwork for a terminal built into the editor itself.

More detail, in a considerably less formal register, is in this week's ecosystem update: "State of the Ecosystem: The Duck Still Hasn't Moved" (okemily.com/blog).
