**GHOST (TEXT CARD, one beat later)** I vote no on "Government Clearance." Too many syllables to scream.

The Frog, in its top hat, says nothing for eleven full seconds — timed, on screen, via a corner counter the UI overlay adds specifically for this beat.
**FROG (TEXT CARD, once the counter hits eleven)** My suggestion is a secret.
**TYLER** That's not how band names work.
**FROG (TEXT CARD)** It's exactly how mine works.
**DUCK** That's not a name, that's just your whole ability again.
**FROG (TEXT CARD)** Everything's already the ability. Weren't you just saying that.
Duck has no response to being quoted back at itself.

## SCENE FIVE — THE PIZZA MAKES A CASE FOR HONESTY
**PIZZA (TEXT CARD)** "Uninvestigated." One word. Nobody's ever going to look into why, same as they never look into me. Full transparency, zero follow-up. That's the whole genre right there.
**TYLER** That's uncomfortably good.
**PIZZA (TEXT CARD)** I am on fire and nobody has confirmed I mind. I have range.
The Tree, static in the corner as always, says one line in French. It is not subtitled this time. Nobody in the garage reacts, which the UI overlay treats as confirmation that the joke landed for everyone except the audience.

## SCENE SIX — THE VOTE THAT ISN'T A VOTE

Doc Wheel enters mid-conversation, the way it enters everything, already halfway to fixing something nobody flagged as broken.
**DOC WHEEL (TEXT CARD)** Whatever you land on, put it on the van. I'm not driving anything unlabeled twice.
**TYLER** There's a van.
**DOC WHEEL (TEXT CARD)** There's always a van.
The Retrieval Cart arrives, unbidden, carrying a single unlabeled band T-shirt. No one asks where from. It is, per house rule, already the answer to a question nobody finished asking.

The Ghost stops playing. The garage notices the silence before it notices the sentence.
**GHOST (TEXT CARD)** Here's my pitch, properly, since apparently no one else's is landing. "Mid-Piano." No hyphen debate — it's one word, functionally. It's what I am. It's the one thing in this room that's true whether or not anyone's watching, which, given the premise of everything we do, feels like the actual point.
A long pause. Not the Frog's kind — an actual one, everyone present at the same time.
**UNICORN (TEXT CARD)** ...Damn.
**DUCK** I hate that it's better than "Government Clearance."
**FROG (TEXT CARD)** I'm keeping my suggestion secret regardless. Just so we're clear that I could have.
**PIZZA (TEXT CARD)** Uninvestigated is still available as an EP title. I'm not giving up the bit, I'm shelving it.

No `docs/BACKSTORY.md` claim touched — this entry sits after roster formation, invents nothing about origin or custody. **Object of record:** A band name, "Mid-Piano" — drawn directly from The Ghost's existing passive (Mid-Piano: an ability that's already, textually, about the Ghost's cast animation being silent because it never actually stops playing piano). No new lore invented; the joke is that the already-real ability was sitting there the entire time, unclaimed as a name, until this scene.
